Green & Clean Beauty Expert
At La Twist we believe in products and treatments that are not harmful to the environment, animals or humans. This not only means that it must be of organic origin, but also how it is reabsorbed into the environment after use. What goes down the drain?
What packaging is used, what preservatives, does it contain plastic particles, where do the raw materials come from, how is it grown, is it sustainable? Treating the skin and the planet in a naturally pure, non-toxic and organic way, that is what we stand for!
At La Twist we do everything we can to provide insight into the jungle of cosmetic choices. Terms are often used such as; vegan, natural, organic; but this is not enough. We continue where others stop, namely clean and holistic beauty. We select what we believe are the right choices, so we hope to improve the planet a bit in the field of cosmetics.
Shop and beauty salon
La Twist is a growing company that is in full development, they are even working hard on their own cosmetics line, which is a very nice and educational process.
In a few weeks, the new location in Het Hof in Oud-Beijerland will open its doors, a combination of shop and beauty salon. For this we are looking for a Green & Clean Beauty Expert!
The function
As a Green & Clean Beauty Expert at La Twist, you are the heart of the salon. You have a passion for sustainable cosmetics and lifestyle and are open to learning more and broadening your horizons in the field of clean and holistic beauty.
Your work is versatile because a working day at La Twist is a surprise every day. In the morning we ensure that the store is clean, inviting and representative. Afterwards, treatments have been booked that day, and a customer spontaneously comes in who is looking for a nice gift for himself or wants tailor-made advice for skin with acne. We are also busy launching the new 'La Twist' product line and packaging and shipping orders received via the webshop.
Each product has been selected with a lot of care and love, you translate the story of each product to the customer's wishes and know exactly what the customer needs. You like this variety. Of course you don't let the customer go without the beautiful bag with a ribbon in which the gift is wrapped, every detail has been thought of. The customer walks out the door with a huge smile and, thanks to you, will want to visit the store often.
Who are you?
- You are a beautician, experience as a make-up artist is a plus.
- You have a great affinity with sustainable products, you are conscious of the choices you make.
- You are warm, reliable, transparent, eager to learn, committed, flexible, inspiring, professional and work on the basis of respect and trust.
- You are curious about new products and treatments and want to contribute to the flourishing of La Twist. It is an advantage if you have commercial experience.
What do we offer?

A working week of 24 - 32 hours, spread over 3 - 4 days, from Wednesday to Saturday, with an occasional evening shift.
Plenty of room for your independence and input of your own vision and creativity.
Your salary depends on work experience.
Holiday pay, budget for purchasing products.
Personal guidance: after internal training, you start working independently. With a background as a trainer/educator, Elsa, owner of La Twist, will increase your skills in the areas of:
