Sometimes only 1 substance remains, but it is allowed. are still sold as Aloe Vera. We take it directly from the leaf, it doesn't get fresher and purer than this.

Dr. Green has chosen to grow only the most 'medicinal' species (out of 400 species), the gel in the leaf is used as skin and hair care.

The effect of the active substances in Aloe Vera gel is anti-inflammatory, immune-enhancing, regulates the immune system, supports healing of wounds, scars, ulcers, bruises, regeneration of all tissues, burns, necrosis (dying tissue) and reduces bacterial activities.

Aloe Vera gel restores the balance between breakdown and build-up of new skin cells, which becomes disturbed with increasing age. The result is an anti-aging effect. It increases the formation of collagen and elastin in the skin. All substances reinforce each other's effect. None have a “main function”.

You can use Aloe Vera gel as your daily care, personally I would apply it as part of your usual care. Place a piece of the leaf in your bathroom (leave the rest of the leaf in the refrigerator, it can be kept for about 3 months) and cut off a small piece of the leaf every morning and evening. Cut the piece open, make a number of slits, remove the gel from the leaf and apply immediately.

For body care you need more than a small piece. Cut the leaf completely in half and remove the Aloe Vera gel from the leaf with a spoon. Foam with a blender, it will now become liquid. Store the gel in a closed container in the refrigerator. This can be kept in the refrigerator for a whole week.

Instruction how to harvest the gel

Only use the pure gel from the inner leaf. Fillet the leaf by hand and do not throw the entire leaf into the blender. You can only throw the Aloe Vera gel into the blender. Mix the Aloe Vera gel with a little lemon juice to prevent oxidation. This is only necessary if you cut open the entire leaf. This is not necessary for small pieces directly on the skin. Can be applied neat to the skin, repeat every 30 minutes for wounds or burns. Can be mixed with oils from, for example, almond, jojoba and avocado. Can be mixed with egg yolk or honey for a mask. Can be mixed with essential oil such as tea tree for foot care. Less than 1% of the population has an allergic reaction to Aloe vera gel. To be on the safe side, first use a small amount on the inside of your wrists and then wait a few minutes to see if you see an allergic reaction. Do not wash the Aloe Vera gel off after applying it, but let it absorb. Aloe Vera gel always sticks first and feels wonderfully soft after about 30 seconds. Treat the Aloe Vera gel as if it were a nugget of gold, it has earned that place.
